A summer spent in Ontario. My grandma's spare ribs. Cousins, aunts, uncles, a large tree outside in the front, and under it, a picnic table with a lot of us kids piled onto it. A hot summer, but I remember a light breeze and the coolness of the shade. Sticky messy fingers, and full tummies.
2 lb spareribs
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 cup ketchup
1 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce (gluten free)
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
Cut the ribs into small pieces. Put into small roasting pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour the sauce oner the ribs (if have time, let sit for several hours or overnight, but not necc) Bake at 350oF for 2 hours (or less depending on your oven)
